About LC Disability Consulting

Laney Davidson

LC Disability Consulting Founder, Laney Davidson has been working in the disability industry for over a dozen years and has established herself as an accessibility subject matter expert.  With a masters degree in Public Administration, Laney also understands how bureaucracies work, and she is well versed in the issues and challenges unique to municipalities.  Helping organizations master the art of ensuring accessibility, she appreciates the complexities of programmatic access.  Never making the mistake of focusing solely on facility access, Laney guarantees comprehensive accessibility service for all of her clients.  From policy creation to accessible communications, LC Disability Consulting ensures you are not only legally compliant but that you can maximize the accessibility of your programs, services, and activities to persons with disabilities!

Laney was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and has worked with both public and private sector agencies.  Her knowledge of federal, state and local accessibility laws and regulations, along with a nation-wide network of accessibility colleagues makes LC Disability Consulting your “go-to” organization for accessibility answers no matter what region your agency represents. Laney is also affiliated with a variety of professional organizations (California Association of Building Officials, National Association of ADA Coordinators, International Association of Accessibility Professionals, etc.)  and keeps abreast of changes and trends in accessibility laws and within the disability community.  Strong relationships with community-based organizations (Marin Center for Independent Living, Pacific ADA Center, etc.) gives LC Disability Consulting access to feedback and input from individuals with disabilities.

Laney is still based in the Bay Area, but travels frequently on business.  She serves as the County of Marin’s Disability Access Manager and ADA Coordinator, ensuring all of their programs, services and activities are accessible to and usable by visitors and residents with disabilities.
